It's playoff time, and Lakota East had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Milford Eagles on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Thunderhawks sure are getting used to it with their 14th in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Carson Berling, who had seven digs and seven aces.

Berling wasn't the only good server: Lakota East was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 14 consecutive contests.

Lakota East's record is now 22-2. As for Milford, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 21-3 record.

Lakota East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against St. Xavier on the 21st. Milford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
