Scott won the last time they faced Ulysses and things went their way on Thursday too. The Beavers came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0.

Scott easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13.

Peyton Gentry paced Scott's offense, picking up 14 kills. Gentry got some help from Kinleigh Wren and her 18 assists. Wren was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Scott's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Ulysses, their loss dropped their record down to 10-16-1.

Scott has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Hugoton on the 2nd. As for Ulysses, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Wichita County on the 6th.
