Leah Chatfield was a major factor in Naugatuck's win over Kennedy on Friday. Chatfield didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
