The Rock Bridge Bruins got the win against the Fort Osage Indians on Wednesday by a conclusive 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Bruins, who have now won 16 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Rock Bridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Fort Osage, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-21.

Looking ahead, Rock Bridge will host Smith-Cotton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Bruins have won three straight at home, while the Tigers won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Fort Osage does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
