Basketball Recap: Oak Hill Rams vs. Florien Blackcats
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oak Hill). They put the hurt on the Florien Blackcats with a sharp 82-56 victory on Tuesday. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 25 points or more this season.
Oak Hill got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brilee Dousay out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten assists. That's the most assists Dousay has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Braylee Cedus, who went 7 for 13 en route to 17 points plus five rebounds and five steals.
Oak Hill's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Florien, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Oak Hill is on the road again on Saturday to play Fairview at 4:15 p.m. As for Florien, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hicks at 5:00 p.m. on December 3rd.
