Volleyball Recap: The Prairie School Hawks vs. Wilmot Panthers

The Prairie School was the 2-0 winner over Wilmot when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. While the Hawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 25-20 in the first set.

The Prairie School started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-21, 16-14.

Their offense was headlined by Addison Zaleski and Kaylin Shannon, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Lily MacDonald and her 11 assists. Zaleski was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

This is the second loss in a row for The Prairie School and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
