            Baseball Recap: Family Community Christian vs. Sterlington Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            Family Community Christian has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.4  runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit  on Thursday. They lost  13-2 to the Sterlington Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Sterlington this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  12-2  last Thursday.
 Family Community Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Chase Mcmurray, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-1.
Family Community Christian has also been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record  this season. Sterlington pushed their record up to 13-4 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road.
 Looking ahead, Family Community Christian will venture away from home to  face off against Bastrop  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Family Community Christian's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4  runs per game  this season, so Bastrop's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Sterlington, they will face off against Richwood at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
