Recap: Victory College Prep Bulldogs vs. Central Christian Academy Chargers
The Victory College Prep Bulldogs's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They strolled past Central Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 60-46. This was payback for Victory College Prep, who suffered a 60-35 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Central Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ky Baker, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Baker has scored all season. Josiah Riggins was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Victory College Prep's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Central Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Victory College Prep will head out on the road to challenge Franklin County at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Central Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Traders Point Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Hopefully Traders Point Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 last Saturday.
