Basketball Game Preview: Desert Vista Thunder vs. Corona del Sol Aztecs

Desert Vista is on a three-game streak of home losses, Corona del Sol an 11-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Desert Vista Thunder will get right back to it and host the Corona del Sol Aztecs at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Desert Vista is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: O'Connor, who was ranked 18th at the time (Desert Vista was ranked 17th). Desert Vista fell to O'Connor 53-47.

Meanwhile, Corona del Sol had to suffer through an 80-12 loss at the hands of Millennium. The matchup marked the Aztecs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Desert Vista now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Corona del Sol, their loss dropped their record down to 0-17.
