Baseball Recap: Lehman Takes a Loss

Lehman might've scored the first runs on Saturday, but it was San Marcos who claimed the real prize. Lehman came up short against San Marcos, falling 16-4.

Ryan Roberts was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Franky Delgadillo, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Lehman's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for San Marcos, they pushed their record up to 15-5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lehman will head out to challenge Leander at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Marcos, they will square off against Steele at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Steele's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so San Marcos' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
