Lodi Academy came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Humphreys Able Charter Legacy. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory last Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-20.

Lodi Academy was led to victory by Cedric Johnson and Han Rocky. Johnson had seven digs and two aces, while Rocky had ten digs. Johnson has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times he's played.

They weren't the only good server: Lodi Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Lodi Academy pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Humphreys Able Charter, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

After both having extra time off, Lodi Academy and Bradshaw Christian will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Humphreys Able Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
