Baseball Recap: John Paul the Great Academy Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, John Paul the Great Academy was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They fell 5-2 to Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool.

John Paul the Great Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jonah Petitt, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

John Paul the Great Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

As of now, neither John Paul the Great Academy nor Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool have any future games scheduled.
