Softball Game Preview: Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots vs. Fayetteville Christian Warriors

The Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots are taking a road trip to face off against the Fayetteville Christian Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Arendell Parrott Academy is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Arendell Parrott Academy lost 19-7 to Bethel Christian Academy on Friday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fayetteville Christian). Everything went their way against Village Christian Academy on Wednesday as Fayetteville Christian made off with a 21-12 victory. The Warriors not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 29, 2024.

Natalie Ysasaga and Abigail Lagos did most of the damage at the plate: Ysasaga went 3-for-5 with five RBI, three runs, and one stolen base, while Lagos scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. That's the most runs Ysasaga has posted since back in April of 2024. Bailey Johnson was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Fayetteville Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .591. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Arendell Parrott Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Fayetteville Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
