Volleyball Recap: Cabrillo Takes a Loss

Cabrillo saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Sanger West Hornets by a score of 1-0. The Conquistadores have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Leila Kiesling paced Cabrillo's offense, picking up two kills. Kiesling got some help from Jazlene Brady and her three assists.

Cabrillo's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14-1. As for Sanger West, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.

Cabrillo has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Righetti on the 30th. As for Sanger West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against San Luis Obispo Classical Academy on the 27th.
