Soccer Game Preview: Centennial vs. Westminster

The Centennial Knights are taking a road trip to take on the Westminster Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Centennial will bounce into Monday's match after beating Chattahoochee, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Knights beat the Cougars by a goal, winning 3-2. That's two games straight that Centennial have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Westminster made sure to put some goals up on the board against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee on Thursday. They never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. Westminster might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by four goals or more this season.

Westminster's record now sits at 4-7. As for Centennial, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Centennial might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Westminster in their previous meeting back in February. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
