Wakefield Country Day's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mary Lindsey, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Sophia Miglino was another key contributor, scoring 5 points.
Wakefield Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Varsity Opponent, the last time they lost on the road was back back in October. Having now won three straight away matchups, they've pushed their record up to 15-79.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wakefield Country Day will take on Mountain View Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Varsity Opponent, they will be playing at home against Springdale Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
