Basketball Recap: York Institute Comes Up Short

York Institute was the 54-49 winner over Westmoreland when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The York Institute Dragons took a 51-35 bruising from the Westmoreland Eagles on Saturday. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

York Institute's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Westmoreland, they pushed their record up to 14-12 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

York Institute does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westmoreland, they will square off against Jackson County on Tuesday. Jackson County will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Westmoreland surely won't give up without a fight.
