Soccer Recap: Sunnyside Comes Up Short

After flying high against Grandview on Saturday, Sunnyside came back down to earth. While the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was the Eisenhower Cadets who were credited with the win on Tuesday. The Eisenhower Cadets got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Sunnyside Grizzlies' two. Sunnyside were not able to make up for their defeat to Eisenhower from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Sunnyside's loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Eisenhower, the victory got them back to even at 2-2-2.

Sunnyside didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Eastmont on the 18th. As for Eisenhower, they have also already played their next game, an 8-0 win against Davis on the 20th.
