Dynamic duo of Kallie Lusk and Symphani Stevens lead Lincoln Charter to victory

Recap: Lincoln Charter Eagles vs. Christ the King Crusaders

The Lincoln Charter Eagles entered their tilt with the Christ the King Crusaders with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Lincoln Charter came out on top against Christ the King by a score of 48-36 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lincoln Charter also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Lincoln Charter was led to victory by Kallie Lusk and Symphani Stevens. Lusk scored 19 points along with three steals, while Stevens scored 20 points along with seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stevens has scored all season. Samantha Ayers was another key contributor, scoring four points along with four steals.

Despite the loss, Christ the King still got an impressive performance from Claire Broda, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Gorman, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.

Lincoln Charter has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Christ the King, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln Charter will face off against Bradford Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lincoln Charter is coming into the matchup with six straight wins on the road, so Bradford Prep is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Christ the King, they will take on Langtree Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Langtree Charter is coming into the contest with ten straight defeats at home, meaning Christ the King will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
