It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Ursula Academy had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Notre Dame Academy Eagles by a score of 3-1. The win was nothing new for the Arrows as they're now sitting on three straight.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 21-25, 25-23, 25-17.

Mia Hasty paced St. Ursula Academy's offense, picking up 17 kills. Hasty got some help from Ellie Panczyszyn and her 35 assists. Devin Dzienny controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the defeat, Notre Dame Academy had strong showings from Sydney Mechling, who had 18 digs, and Amira DuPree, who had ten kills, four digs, and two aces. DuPree has been hot , having posted seven or more kills the last seven times she's played.

St. Ursula Academy pushed their record up to 13-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Notre Dame Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

After both having extra time off, St. Ursula Academy and Shawnee will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
