Highland added to the longest winning streak in Suburban this week by beating Washington, 17-14. This was the team's 12th consecutive win.
Highland made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 198 from 261. The improvement was the result of a 17-14 victory over the Tigers last week.
6-foot-2 quarterback David Murray of Nordonia is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,251. He has also thrown 30 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Austin Smith. The Cloverleaf star has 49 catches for 797 yards.
The Hornets led the league in points allowed with 14.
