Cordova won the last time they faced Dora and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp  20-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won 15 matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Khloe Herron was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit over four innings pitched. Herron was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in March.
 In other batting news,  Mia Vance was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. She also put up a  double, which was her first of the season.  Ella Grace Madison was another key player,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Cordova  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 18  hits. They are 13-3 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Cordova has  been performing  well recently as they've  won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-13 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.1 runs over those games. As for Dora,  they are  on  an  11-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-18.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cordova will head out to  challenge Good Hope  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Dora, they will venture away from home to  face off against Carbon Hill  at 12:00  p.m.  on Friday.
