Soccer Recap: Lecanto Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Forest two weeks ago, Lecanto came back down to earth. The Panthers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nature Coast Tech Sharks on Tuesday. Lecanto were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Nature Coast Tech apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Lecanto's goal came courtesy of Emma Blais, who's now up to five this season.

Lecanto now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Nature Coast Tech, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 7-1-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lecanto will square off against Sickles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Nature Coast Tech, they will challenge Central at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Nature Coast Tech will be up against Central's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.6 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
