Recap: Howells-Dodge Jaguars vs. Tekamah-Herman Tigers
The Howells-Dodge Jaguars won the last time they faced the Tekamah-Herman Tigers, and things went their way on Friday too. Howells-Dodge secured a 39-33 W over Tekamah-Herman.
Howells-Dodge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kylie Brichacek out in front who scored six points along with five rebounds and three steals. Brichacek also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jade Bayer, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Howells-Dodge has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Tekamah-Herman, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Howells-Dodge will take on Wisner-Pilger at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Wisner-Pilger focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Saturday. As for Tekamah-Herman, they will head out on the road to square off against Lyons-Decatur Northeast on Monday. Lyons-Decatur Northeast is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
