Basketball Recap: Chicago Collegiate Comes Up Short

Chicago Collegiate came up into this matchup off a tough 20-point defeat last Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Little Village Phoenix by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Phoenix: they've now lost five in a row.

Chicago Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Little Village, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chicago Collegiate will head out to challenge Spry Community Links at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Little Village, they will venture away from home to square off against Phoenix Military at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
