Davion Brock posted a new career-high in defended passes on Friday. He wasn't messing around, forcing one fumble, making five total tackles, and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception. The matchup was his seventh straight with five or more total tackles dating back to last season.

Brock and Jones will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on El Campo at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
