Preview: Wilmington vs. Tewksbury Memorial
Wilmington has had a week off and is no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will go up against Tewksbury Memorial in continuing playoff action on Thursday. The Wildcats are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.
It was close but no cigar for Wilmington as they fell 25-22 to Lynnfield two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, Tewksbury Memorial probably have a sour taste in their mouth after their recent playoff contest against Duxbury. Tewksbury Memorial suffered a grim 35-6 defeat to Duxbury last week. Tewksbury Memorial was in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 21 to nothing.
The Wildcats took a serious blow against the Redmen when the two teams last met in last November, falling 43 to nothing. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll soon find out.
