Volleyball Recap: Vernon Hills Takes a Loss

Vernon Hills lost against Glenbrook South back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars fell 2-0 to the Titans. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11.

Vernon Hills' loss dropped their record down to 7-25. As for Glenbrook South, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season.

Vernon Hills has already played their next contest (against Bradley-Bourbonnais), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Glenbrook South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Plainfield South on the 16th.
