Volleyball Recap: Fairview Starts Season with Victory Against Wauseon + How To Watch

Fairview took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Wauseon Indians as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Apaches in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won five in a row.

One reason for the win was Fairview's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14, 25-11.

Fairview was led to victory by Kenna Kauffman and Liberty Vogelsong. Kauffman had seven digs and three aces, while Vogelsong had 17 digs and four assists. Kauffman has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 25 times she's played.

This is the second loss in a row for Wauseon and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Fairview has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Bryan on the 21st. As for Wauseon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Hicksville on the 21st.
