Soccer Recap: Christian Brothers Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to four goals the game before, Christian Brothers Academy was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They fell just short of the Liverpool Warriors by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Christian Brothers Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 75th, while Liverpool are ranked 14th).

Christian Brothers Academy was without their leading scorer, Alex Allain, in Saturday's contest. With Allain sitting this one out, Edison Jones got some extra time on the pitch (80 vs. his season average of 50).

Christian Brothers Academy's loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5-1. As for Liverpool, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 9-1-3 record this season.
