Volleyball Recap: Roselle Comes Up Short

Roselle lost against Lakewood back in May of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rams took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Piners. Considering the last time the Rams couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15.

Roselle's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lakewood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-14.

Lakewood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Lacey Township on the 16th. Hopefully Roselle paid attention to the Piners' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Piners at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
