Football Recap: St. Charles North Starts Season with Victory Against Minooka + How To Watch

St. Charles North had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Minooka Indians 36-35. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the North Stars' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Indians are ranked 65th).

Looking ahead, St. Charles North will take on Homewood-Flossmoor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Minooka, they will head out on the road to challenge Neuqua Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
