Recap: Murphy Panthers vs. Blount Leopards
The Murphy Panthers won the last time they faced the Blount Leopards, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Murphy strolled past Blount with points to spare, taking the game 53-37.
Murphy was led to victory by Deangelon Johnson and Cordairus Dixon. Johnson scored 13 points along with eight rebounds, while Dixon scored 17 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Kinley Simmons, who scored five points along with 12 rebounds.
Murphy's win bumped their record up to 19-10. As for Blount, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-19.
Murphy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-57 victory vs. Theodore on the 8th. Blount does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
