Volleyball Recap: Rockledge Has No Trouble Against Eau Gallie + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Rockledge had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Eau Gallie Commodores on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

One reason for the win was Rockledge's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 25-10.

Arianna Jackson was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 18 digs and three aces. She has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Jackson wasn't the only good servers: Rockledge was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in four consecutive contests.

Rockledge's win bumped their record up to 11-15. As for Eau Gallie, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Rockledge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Merritt Island on the 15th. Eau Gallie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
