Football Recap: New Philadelphia Takes a Loss

The New Philadelphia Quakers came up short against the West Branch Warriors on Friday and fell 21-13.

Jeremiah Thomas was nothing short of spectacular for West Branch: he rushed for 101 yards and three touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards Thomas has posted since back in September of 2024.

New Philadelphia's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for West Branch, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, New Philadelphia will look to defend their home field on Friday against Wooster at 7:00 p.m. As for West Branch, they will head out to take on Struthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
