Football Game Preview: Riverside Pirates vs. Irrigon Knights + How To Watch

The Riverside Pirates will head out on the road to challenge the Irrigon Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Friday, Riverside had to suffer through a 50-6 loss at the hands of Enterprise. The matchup marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Irrigon took a blow against Grant Union on Friday, falling 38-6. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Riverside now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Irrigon, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Riverside beat Irrigon 14-6 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
