Basketball Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Loogootee

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Barr-Reeve, Loogootee was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They managed a 43-38 victory over the Bloomfield Cardinals. The win was all the more spectacular given the Lions' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 243rd, while the Cardinals are ranked 100th).

Loogootee now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Bloomfield, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-5.

Loogootee has already played their next contest (against South Knox), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bloomfield will be playing at home against North Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
