Lancaster Mennonite hasn't lost a match since September 6th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Annville-Cleona Dutchmen a 2-0 shutout. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Lancaster Mennonite's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 112th, while Annville-Cleona are ranked 449th).

Lancaster Mennonite has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-1-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven matchups. As for Annville-Cleona, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.
