Baseball Recap: Neville Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

While Neville put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Ouachita Parish. The Tigers blew past the Lions 10-0. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Bentlee Parker looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

On the hitting side, Hunter Robinson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. Neville is 2-1 when Robinson posts three or more hits, but 9-14 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Connor Ajlani, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run.

Neville hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in four consecutive matchups.

Neville's record is now 11-15. As for Ouachita Parish, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 16 of their last 17 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-23 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Neville will venture away from home to square off against Glenbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ouachita Parish, they will head out to challenge Cedar Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
