Basketball Recap: Northside Piles Up the Points Against Jordan

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northside). They claimed a resounding 78-41 win over the Jordan Red Jackets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-52 two weeks ago.

Northside found their leader in freshman Xavier Davies, who went 7 of 10 on his way to 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davies has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Cinque Hodge, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Northside's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Jordan, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Northside will head out to take on Shaw at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jordan, they will venture away from home to square off against Spencer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
