Softball Preview: West Forsyth Wolverines vs. Lambert Longhorns
West Forsyth hasn't had much luck against Lambert recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The West Forsyth Wolverines will head out to take on the Lambert Longhorns at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
West Forsyth is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against South Forsyth last Tuesday as West Forsyth made off with a 14-2 win. Considering the Wolverines have won seven contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Meanwhile, Lambert won against North Atlanta last Monday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again last Tuesday. Lambert walked away with a 7-2 victory over Forsyth Central. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Longhorns.
Jenna Fox and Peyton Jamison did most of the damage at the plate: Fox went 1-for-2 with a home run and two RBI, while Jamison scored a run while going 3-for-4.
