Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Machias). They skirted past the Jonesport-Beals Royals 2-1. This was a revenge game for Machias: when they faced off against Jonesport-Beals on September 4th, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Machias' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Jonesport-Beals, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Machias and Jonesport-Beals will both be playing Narraguagus the next time they take the pitch. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Royals will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
