Softball Recap: Gulf Buccaneers vs. Central Bears
Gulf barely beat Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Buccaneers were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Bears on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-6 back in February.

Jeovanna Carter was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
