After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wagoner, Checotah was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 39-38 victory over the Muldrow Bulldogs. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 40-27 win the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.
Checotah's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Muldrow, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
