Baseball Game Preview: Stratford Spartans vs. Memorial Mustangs

For the second straight game, Stratford will face off against Memorial. The Spartans are taking a road trip to take on the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Stratford 3.6, Memorial 1.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Stratford is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Memorial just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 4-1 to the Mustangs.

The win (which was Memorial's 20th in a row) raised their record to 24-3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Stratford, their loss dropped their record down to 21-10.
