Recap: Michigan Lutheran Seminary Cardinals vs. Cass City Red Hawks
After flying high against the Bendle Tigers last Friday, The Michigan Lutheran Seminary Cardinals came back down to earth. Michigan Lutheran Seminary and Cass City were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but Michigan Lutheran Seminary suffered an agonizing 22-21 defeat.
Despite the loss, Michigan Lutheran Seminary still got an impressive performance from Carson D. koehler, who rushed for 181 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 98 yards and a touchdown. D. koehler was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards.
Michigan Lutheran Seminary's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Cass City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.
Michigan Lutheran Seminary will head out on the road to face off against Ubly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Ubly's favor is that they have now posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season. Cass City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
