Volleyball Recap: Kellis Cougars vs. Canyon View Jaguars
Kellis managed to slip by Canyon View the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cougars came up short against the Jaguars on Friday, falling 3-0. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Jaguars earlier this season, when they won 3-2.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-13, 25-23.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Canyon View to victory, but perhaps none more so than Locklan Swanson, who had 19 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Swanson has posted since back in March.
Kellis dropped their record down to 6-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Canyon View, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-17.
Kellis has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Sunrise Mountain on the 28th. As for Canyon View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Willow Canyon on the 29th.
