The Indians will welcome the Cougars at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Tuesday, Fort Defiance got the win against Waynesboro by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Fort Defiance took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-11, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Alleghany made easy work of Riverheads on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Alleghany was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-7, 25-15.

Fort Defiance's win bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Alleghany, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.
