Baseball Recap: Northport Comes Up Short

Northport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Almira-Coulee-Hartline Warriors, falling 13-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-7 on Tuesday.

Northport's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. Almira-Coulee-Hartline has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Northport will take on rival Selkirk at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Almira-Coulee-Hartline is set to challenge their familiar foe Odessa at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
