Potts Camp had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came out on top against the Center Hill Mustangs by a score of 5-1. The five-run effort marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Potts Camp pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.3 runs over those games. As for Center Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Potts Camp wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-3 victory against Olive Branch on the 23rd. As for Center Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-4 defeat against Grenada on the 25th.
